Letter of Credit

Highland Forwarding staff are experts in processing letter of credit documents.  Highland’s founder and president Mr. Maly had worked at the start of his career in a letter of credit department of a major USA bank (which became part of Bank of America).  His hands-on experience in checking documents on daily basis is invaluable still today as he passes the “inside” knowledge to the employees.  We know what mistakes to avoid and what discrepancies banks are looking for. We will help our clients avoid in order to get paid faster and without unnecessary fees.

Best practice is to send us a copy of a new L/C still in a draft form and we will provide free advice and consulting on any possible needed changes. Afterall,  it is much cheaper and easier to fix problems before they are written “in stone”, that is in the L/C.
